Wellness Travel essentials I won't leave my house without
Traveling often brings about stress and anxiety, especially if you are a health-conscious consumer. Whether or not you are a light packer, or feel like you pack your whole wardrobe for a 2 day vacation, making room for the essentials is key. I recently had a quick 3 day trip to Florida and only had a carry on, but still managed to bring my essentials with me!
Here's everything wellness related that I made sure to pack:
Electrolytes
Especially traveling to Florida, staying hydrated is definitely at the top of my list. Normally, electrolytes often come in larger sizes or bottles that are too large to take through security. I was lucky to have individual electrolyte powders from Kaizen to bring with me! They are created with not just electrolytes, but include superfood ingredients such as sea moss, chaga, and lions mane. I gave one of the tropical flavors to my friend while we were on the way to the beach, and she was in love with the flavor. The instant coffee edition was especially useful for my mornings, so I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg on a coffee! Lymphatic Drainage Device
Flying slows down your lymphatic system and after sitting for hours, using a lymphatic drainage device is helpful for getting everything flowing properly again. It's so portable you can use it on the plane, while your waiting to board, or when your resting in your hotel. Personally, I use it in the morning after showering after I put lotion on as a little massage for myself. Portable Olive Oil Shots
Okkkk if you are on instagram at all you've definitely seen the hype around olive oil shots, and let me tell you the hype is real! I enjoy a few different brands for different purposes. For travel, I like Alya Health, as they come prepared in perfect travel sized containers, and are a high polyphenol count (trust me -- it burns). Take 20% off here https://alyahealth.com/EMMABRIANA
Crochet Set
I have been loving working on crochet projects lately! It is something for my brain to focus on, and distract my mind away from any stress or worries in my mind. Also, I'm pretty sure it's amazing for your brain health (hand-eye coordination). Right now, I just finished creating a baby cowboy hat for my friend who's pregnant, and now I can't wait to create more!
Books (Duh)
I always try to bring at least one good book with me while traveling, this time I brought two! I was visiting my friends who were getting married, and the weekend before I had coincidentally picked up two faith-based marriage books. I had found them while I was camping, at a leave one and take one shelf. I started reading them and was fully immersed in them. I think its good to prepare for marriage and challenges you may face before actually getting there. It's always good to be prepared! So I brought them with me, read a bit on the plane, and then I gave them to new owners of my newly-married friends to have. The books were titled, "Love and Respect", and "Love is a Decision". Love & Respect was very eye-opening and really resonated with me, as a lot of the scenarios it laid out in the book, I experienced in the past. Here is a link to purchase, https://amzn.to/4j05R7z
These all made my travel experience much smoother and calmer! Make sure to grab them for yourself.
